Howard Elliott is reaping the benefits of its acquisition late last year of CTC (Chicago Textile Corporation), through an exciting new collection of alternative wall art trademarked as CTC Pixels™. Designed to create the perfect focal point in any room, in any size, or in any arrangement, CTC Pixels™ combine the dramatic effect of decorative wall art with the beauty of upholstered wall panels.

Available in an impressive assortment of fabrics and colors, the CTC Pixels™ measure 16"x16", can be manufactured in 1" or 2" thicknesses, and with or without a button. They attach to a wall using a simple peel and stick method. CTC Pixels™ also feature sound absorbing properties that allow for a quiet, decorative environment.

“They’re very versatile,” explains Howard Elliott founder and president Brian Berk, “and can be used to adorn walls or even to create unique headboards. They can stand on their own, or be integrated into any other décor setting. The response at market was very strong.”

Following the company’s expanded use of color over the past few seasons, this year Howard Elliott also launched its formal Custom Paint program. This program allows customers, for a slightup charge, to choose from an expanded color palette to customize the frame color of as many as 50 different Howard Elliott mirror frames. All of the options are shown through the online Custom Color Catalog on the company’s web site – www.howardelliott.com.

With its success attributed to innovative designs, a broad variety of styles and sizes, unique combinations of raw materials and competitive pricing, Howard Elliott has become one of the premier manufacturers of
decorative mirrors and accessories in the home furnishings industry. This season, small accent mirrors that can be displayed in eclectic groupings, interesting convex mirrors and other different shapes and lacquers have been the featured trends.

“The comment we hear over and over again is that we are different,” Berk explains. “We take pride in being thought of as a trendsetter, so we’re working hard to build on that image. One of our important goals for 2010 is getting back to the fundamentals of business – staying in touch with customers, discovering what they need and finding out how we can succeed together.” - Home Accents Today June 2010
